The 69th commemoration of the Servant of God Archbishop Mar Ivanios and Episcopal Ordination of two new Bishops of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church was held on 15th July 2022 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Trivandrum. The Holy Mass presided by His Beatitude Baselios Cardinal Cleemis, Major Archbishop-Catholicos of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church started at 8.00 am at St. Mary’s Cathedral. All the Bishops of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church concelebrated the Holy Mass. During the Holy Mass Manakarakavil Mathews Ramban and Kakkanatt Antony Ramban were ordained Bishops by His Beatitude Baselios Cardinal Cleemis, the Major Archbishop-Catholicos and they received the name Mathew Mar Polycarpos (Auxiliary Bishop Trivandrum) and Antony Mar Silvanos (Bishop of Major Archiepiscopal Curia) respectively. His Grace Most Rev. Thomas Mar Koorilos, Metropolitan Archbishop of Tiruvalla and His Excellency Most Rev. Joshua Mar Ignathios, Bishop of Mavelikara were Co-consecrators of the Episcopal Ordination.
