St. Mary’s H.S.S. Kizhakketheruvu: This higher secondary school is situated at Kizhakketheruvu, Kottarakkara in the District of Kollam. This is an aided higher secondary school owned and managed by the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum. Lower Primary Section of the School was started by the Servant of God Archbishop Mar Ivanios in 1945. Later it was raised to the status of a high school by His Grace Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios in 1955 and to the higher secondary level in 2007 by His Grace Archbishop Cyril Mar Baselios. His Beatitude Baselios Cardinal Cleemis, Major Archbishop-Catholicos of Trivandrum is the Patron and Manager of the School.
