2018 August witnessed unrelenting rainfall, land slide, flash floods, debris flow etc. in the State of Kerala. This caused flood havoc and the life of thousands of families made miserable and the people who lived in coast of the rivers and reservoirs were severely affected. Many lost their lives and most of the people lost their house, households, livestock etc. The Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum with all machineries entered into rescue activities along with the Government Departments. The rehabilitation of the flood victims has been a herculean task. In this situation the Major Archbishop’s Charity fund is being used for the rehabilitation of the needy people affected by flood.
