His Beatitude Baselios Cardinal Cleemis the Major Archbishop-Catholicos of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church consecrated His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Mathews Mar Pachomios as a Bishop and installed him as the Bishop of the Diocese of St. Ephrem, Khadki-Pune on 11 February 2024 at Pune. His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Koorilos, Metropolitan Archbishop of Tiruvalla and His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Anthonios, Administrator of the Diocese of St. Ephrem Khadki-Pune were the co-consecrators. All the Bishops, Priests, Religious and Laity attended the ceremonies at Pune.
