History and Development

Holy Family Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Karette in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Kilimanoor.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1969. This Parish was established in 1973 during the time of Rev. Fr. Mathew Chengalloor.  It was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios in 1976.
