History and Development
St. Thomas Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Odanavattom in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Ayoor. The first community of this parish was formed in 1949.This Parish was established on May 19, 1960. It was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios .The church was rebuilt during the time of Rev. Fr. Alex Kalappila on March 4, 2010 and blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis.
