History and Development
St.Jude Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Manjamala in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Kazhakoottam. The First community of this Parish was formed in 1965. This Parish was established in 1965 and blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. Rev. Fr.Mathai Malancharuvil was the First Vicar. A new shrine was built during the time of Rev.Fr.Johnson Kakkanattu and blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis in 2011. The renovated church was blessed on 17-09-2019 by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis.
