History and Development

 

St.Benedict Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Karavaloor in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Anchal. The First community of this Parish was formed in 1954. This Parish was established in 1954 and blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. Rev.Fr Alexander Valiyaveetil Cor Episcopa was the First Vicar. A new church was built during the time of Rev.Fr.Wilson Charuvila and Blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis in 2016.
