History and Development

St. Augustine’s Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Kampancode in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Ayoor.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1965. It was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios in 1965. The church was rebuilt during the time of Rev. Fr. Johnson Puthuparambil on 13^th November 2016 and blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis.
