History and Development

Little Flower Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Cheruvalloor in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Ayoor.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1972. This Parish was established on August 12, 1973 during the time of Rev. Fr. Joseph Thachettu. It was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios in 1974. The church was renovated during the time of Rev. Fr.George Purathootu on June 22, 2002 and blessed by His Grace Joshua Mar Ignatius
