History and Development

St. George Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Kulakkada in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Adoor.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1958. This Parish was established 1980 and was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios.  The foundation stone of new church was blessed and laid by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis on 10^th February 2019.
