History and Development

St. Mary’s Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Ezhamkulam (Thoduvacadu) in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Adoor.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1930. This Parish was established in 1930 and was blessed by the Servant of God Archbishop Mar Ivanios. This Parish was renovated and blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios in 1959. The church was rebuilt and blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis in 2002. A Presbytery built and blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis in 2007.
