History and Development
St. Antony’s Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Kanjirampara in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Trivandrum. The first community of this parish was formed in 1933 by the mission work of the Franciscan Brothers. This Parish was established in 1938 by the Servant of God Archbishop Mar Ivanios. The church was renovated by Rev. Fr. Thomas Vattaparambil in 1994 and blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios with a Presbytery.
