History and Development
St. George Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Manjamonkala in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Punalur. The first community of this parish was formed in 1960. This Parish was established and blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. The church was renovated in 1975 and blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. The church was renovated in 2017 and blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis.
