History and Development

St. Joseph’s Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Arasuparambu in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Nedumangadu.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1932 by the mission work of the Franciscan Brothers. This Parish was established by the Servant of God Archbishop Mar Ivanios.  The present church was blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis on 15^th March 2015.
