History and Development
St. George Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Pattazhi East (Erupakuzhy) in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Kottarakkara. The first community of this parish was formed in 1950.This Parish was established in 1966 and was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. The first vicar was Rev. Fr. Koshy Chakkalamannil. The church was renovated on 2nd October 2017 and blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis.
