History and Development

St. George Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Panaveli in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Kottarakkara. This Parish was established in 1962 and blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. The first vicar was Rev. Fr. George Mootheril.
