History and Development

St. Mary’s Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Paruthiyur (Chembur) in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Kilimanoor.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1970.This Parish was established by Lawrence Mar Ephrem .  It was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. The church was renovated by Fr Jose Kizhakedathu in December 19, 2017 and blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis.
